The 9th International BioBrillouin Conference marked an important milestone for us: we officially revealed ALBA – our fully integrated on-chip Brillouin spectrometer.

Designed for researchers in mechanobiology and materials science, ALBA combines compact design, alignment-free operation, and sub-GHz spectral precision on a small photonics chip — redefining Brillouin spectroscopy.

The BioBrillouin Conference was the perfect stage for ALBA’s debut, and we were delighted to present it to the community. We’d like to thank everyone who visited our booth and attended Giuseppe Antonacci’s invited talk, where he introduced ALBA and its vision for the future of Brillouin research.

A special thank-you as well to the organisers at the International BioBrillouin Society for hosting an exceptional meeting and bringing this vibrant community together.

We look forward to continuing the journey with ALBA and sharing more exciting updates soon.
